Year 6B students!! These are the activities you have to do for tomorrow Wednesday, 4th November:

Year 6A and B!! Next you have two videos that have to do with one phenomenon of light: Refraction and lenses.

You don’t need to understand everything that it is said in the videos. Pay attention only to these:

- The different physical appearance between the convex and the concave lense.

- What are they used for.

- What effect do they produce with the light that passes through them.

THE FIRST EXPLORERS:

TWO SPANISH CONQUISTADORS:

The man in armor is Hernán Cortés. This painting represents his first meeting with Moctezuma, an Aztec king from present day Mexico.

Here is Francisco Pizarro. He arrived to Peru in 1532.

Here you can see the areas they conquered. The yellow ones were conquered by Cortés, the red one by Pizarro.

There are few remainings from the Mayans, Aztecs and Incas. These are some pictures of Aztec and Inca temples where they offered sacrifices to their Gods. 

The picture that is at the bottom, right is the Macchu Picchu in Peru. It was the most important Inca city.
