Hi kids!
How are you today? I hope you feel well and positive. Today I want to present you a new verb tense in English class: The Past perfect tense (el pasado perfecto) and I also want to start unit 2 with you in Natural Science. This new unit is titled Human Nutrition II.
Don’t send me by email every task you do everyday, just those activities I specifically ask for.
For example you don’t need to send anything today.

ENGLISH
This verb tense is normally used in a sentence with another verb in past simple:

The bank had closed when I arrived
                                                                   ↓                          ↓
                                                            Past perfect.        Past simple

If you realize, in this sentence both actions in color occurred in the past but the past perfect action (had closed) occurred earlier than the past simple one (arrived)
Here you are some more examples:
I washed the floor when the painter had gone.
She stayed up all night because she had received bad news.
Anthony had met Ryan before you introduced him to us at the party.
